I know they are getting rarer and more and more examples have been crashed or had a full on makeover from Halfords......

But where are the decent E36 328i Sports? I have checked ebay, autotrader and pistonheads classifieds and i can't find any really decent ones.

I'm looking for lowish mileage, original (no m3 mirrors yuck!) and also must be a manual and a sport. Does anyone know of any other sites or places i need to look?

www.e36coupe.com has a reasonably lively 'for sale' section.

M3 mirrors should be easy to ditch for standard items. If you're after a decent car you may need to accept that it might not be perfect.

They've all been bought by PH'ers and turned into track or drift cars smile

I know.. It's great when I have one sitting on my drive thumbup couldn't actually replace it at any price, given the crap that seems to be floating around for sale at the moment.

Hopefully when a good friend of mine comes round to selling his, I'll be able to afford it.

Hellrot, relatively untouched bar the Sunflowers and Vader seats, absolutely mint car that drives fantastic.

This. And I tried again last year. I was happy to have any 328, not just a sport and not just a coupe. All the ones I found were barried or rusty. Maybe a 323 would do?

They are about, a mate of mine bought a mint silver one with 74k on it, totally original for £2k.

I've been looking on and off myself and nice ones do turn up in the PH classifieds every now and then.

May be a blessing in disguise, E36 328 is more fun.

Oldcolonelcars.co.uk has a nice looking blue one for sale with FSH, automatic though. I am very fond of these cars having owned a mint hellrot red example about 10 years ago. Good luck with your search!
Oh, and if you find one then pictures please....
