BMW M5 E34 QUESTION

Its ages since Ive had one, picked one up today 94L 3.8 5 speed..............do they normally run a bit uneaven on tickover/sound a bit lumpy.........if my memory serves me correctly they do but will someone comfirm.

Both the ones I've driven had this.. but it was about 4 years ago so i could be wrong.

They have a slightly elevated tickover IIRC, dint remember it being particularly uneven though, just meaty as fvck.
