Hi all
I've got a 2011 F10 520d and recently the central locking wont unlock from the fob or from the button on the inside.
I have to use the physical key to open the drivers door, start the car up then open all the other doors manually.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
No warnings on the dash and it does not have comfort access.
Thanks again

Have you checked the fuse?

Also worth looking at door actuators? Do the doors lock when you press the central locking function?

I had an e46, the drivers side door would lock, but the doorpin wouldn't come up to unlock and had to be manually unlocked. Could be worth a look

As per the above, have you tried any of that? Managed to sort it?

Would be very helpful for us 5 series owners if you could post your outcome!

Hi All
it was the fuse afterall.
There are two fuses one used for locking (fuse 14) and the other for unlocking (fuse 15) It was fuse 15 that had blown and would not unlock the car.

Hi,
I think I have the same problem because the passenger door isn’t locking with the other doors so I’ll have a look at the fuses. Where did you buy the fuses?
Thanks
