Stone hit windscreen - new glass required?

Just back from NYE in Somerset, trundling along, back up the M3 and bang! Sounded like a gun going off!
Pretty big hit, i'm no expert but i am guessing too big to be repaired???

Looks like a new screen required to me, those stress cracks will open up and across the screen soon enough. If it were me I would get the new screen in sooner rather than later.

They won't 'open up'.

But agree, get it replaced.

Yeah... That's going to need a replacement. Think the rule is about the size of a 5p coin or smaller it can be repaired.

Thanks guys, thought as much.. it’s larger than a 2 pound coin so fairly big.
Will be arranging autoglass tmw!
