E9X (and other?) Brembo discs

A friend and I have both had issues with Brembo front discs on our E90/1s whereby they appear to be warping after a couple of months (a few k miles). We both do a mixture of motorway and town miles, none particularly hard. All our discs have been bought from ECP and we're both on our second set and those are both warped now, too.

ECP replace discs within a certain period with no quibble. However, that doesn't cover the time/cost of labour to swap them over. To do that, you need to claim to Brembo who, if there's an issue with the discs, will cover parts and labour. If there's no issue you get nothing from them or ECP so you're completely out of pocket. Given how these things tend to go, we've both figured replacement discs as the better option vs the likelihood of Brembo acknowledging an issue.

Is anyone else seeing this issue or are we just desperately unlucky?

I’ve not had an issue with Brembo discs but have with other aftermarket discs on BMWs. I now only fit gen BMW discs to BMWs, no problems with those.
