Wheel size e46 330cd
Discussion
Hi i got a E46 330cd and it had 19 inch wheels when i bought it, one has now cracked and i am looking to get a new set but cant decide if i should stay on 19's or go to 18's.
the 19's i am looking at are 8.5J (Front) & 9.5J (Rear) will they fit or do i need the same all around.
Thanks for any info

I've read about plenty of cracked 19s on newer BMWs that use run-flats tyres, but I suppose it's a similar issue with any tyres when you run 19s because there is very little sidewall.
My nephew has a 325i Sport Touring and it came with 18" MV2s which look pretty good. They are 8J fronts and 8.5J rears, which are the same wheels I had on my first E86 Z4!
As to what will fit, there are plenty of Z4 owners using 19" CSLs and CSL replicas so 19 might work - it all depends on the offset (AKA ET or IS in BMW-speak) of the wheels you are looking at. Standard offset is 47 on the front and 50 on the rear - if they are BMW wheels it should be stamped on the hub. Sometimes it's on the face of the wheel, but I think some have it on the rear.
Once you know the offset, hopefully this might help you:- http://www.willtheyfit.com/
