Hi all,

I collected my 2017 M4 Comp Pack Convertible last week. All going very well..

However I started the car on saturday and was greeted by a "No Note" warning on the Display Screen. After clicking through this, it became apparent there is no sound output from the speakers:

- No radio/ CD/ etc
- No PDC beeps
- No ignition on warning beeps.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? My gut feeling is that it is an amplifier fuse or something similar. The car has the Harmon Kardon Speakers.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello BMW dealer, this is Shanaliqureshi, I seem to be having a small issue with my new M4's sound system. When could you have a look at it?

It will be a blown amp, happened twice to me. There is a known issue with a vent seal at the rear of the car which lets water in. Apparently there is one on each side, first time they only replaced one so hey presto it happened again.

Book it in and it will be made a priority as the BMW Service system will flag it as a safety issue.
