Damn stupid design fault with the E92 auto box, loss of DS mode and all lights gone on the P/R/N/D/DS
Google foo looked like the wires were broken for the box due to a design fault that stresses a loom when you select DS and over time the wires break.
For me it was 3 of the wires but the rest were looking like they were about to die anyway so I spliced and diced them all.
Car is now working again like it should and to be fair I have I know in the week I lost DS but never noticed the lights on the gearbox so it could have been a while since the wires snapped and that night in the NCP.

I had completed mine a few minutes after this video so job done in 40 min.
