E46 Steering Wheel respray

Hi All, advise please, BMW E46 2004 Multi Function Steering Wheel, has any one any Idea the colour of the said wheel? the car is Blue, the plastic covering is unsightly & in need of spaying has anyone attempted to do this? where did you get the Spray Paint.

Not done the steering wheel yet. As I plan to take it off to repair the indicator stalk and will remove plastics to spray then.

I have sprayed much of the interior plastics. I used a few coats of plastikote spray paint.which is widely available. With a couple of coats of clear coat over it.

I just used shade of dark blue that fits in OK with the black trim.

He will still need the middle bit painting up however, which to my knowledge Jack won't do/

eBay may be your best bet. if you do find out the colour let me know.

Painting the plastic trim will be the same as painting any plastic trim. Rub down, prime, base layer, if needed laquer.

Depending on your painting skill either diy it or pay a painter.

Or buy a good used part.
