Be helpful for some advice

I can't sync my iphone 7 with the bluetooth on my new 335d x drive

It just says the car side isn't on, when it is??

Also does anyone know if the mirrors come with motors fitted even if it doesn't have the button to fold them in when locked?

Seems I've got a 40k Pop Plus

I can’t answer first one. Mirrors are not always folding on 335d, mine aren’t. Not an issue for me because:
The mirrors are not much wider than the car, so they protect the car to some extent, without adding too much to the width.
The mirrors have a black strip that will take the brunt and flick the mirror back, I have done that negotiating past a barrier in a tight spot. If you look at other cars, some have the mirror’s indicator lens unprotected by any other mirror structure.

What age is your car? If it’s newish then could be a faulty Bluetooth module or something, or could need a software update.

The latter I don’t think so - I have folding mirrors and it also included anti dazzle glass that works like the rear view mirror (Dims under direct light from headlights)

I like them folding for two reasons, shows me I’ve actually locked it and means they are less likely to get kicked off by scrotes outside home.

I can see the cars code re Bluetooth but it just won’t connect.

Read up about it and it says wait for iOS 11.3 or somesuch but am sure that can’t be right.

67 plate 335d X drive (pop plus model).

Have you tried another phone ?
Had same issue (iPhone 5s) and I had unchecked a box somewhere in the menus and it wasn’t obvious.

Edited to say, what it seems I'd done is unchecked the bluetooth box but I'd done this from the multimedia menu, that's why I got confused.

I've got a problem with my iPhone X on an F10 M5 (it's not delivering text messages to the infotainment screen). I called BMW customer services and they said it's down to Apple to sort out. BMW and Apple don't seem to work together very well.
