17" F10 wheels on E46?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has experience with this. I have a e46 compact, currently with 7.5 x 17 et47 up front and 8.5 x 17 et51 on the rear. I'm looking at some 17 x 8 wheels from an F10 5 series which are ET30.

I've done the calcs and its working out that the f10 wheels will sit 17mm further out on the rear and 23mm further out on the front. I don't think the rear will be an issue but thinking 23mm on the front will be pushing it..

Is anyone running f10 17s that could comment or even better put up some pics?

Can't answer your question directly but I've seen a e46 sitting on 350m 18" f10 wheels and it looked pretty good.

I have 3 8J 350m in various states of repair for sale if interested.
