Toyo Proxes Sport any good?
Discussion
If it were me I'd want Michelin PS4s or Goodyear F1 Assymetric 3s as another poster asked about recently.
The Proxes are OK however; I'd take them over a Kumho and definitely over an Avon. If you are looking at that price point Nexens are actually worth a shout. But be careful; the Nexens may grip well but Boy they don't do many miles at all! Even on my W124 250D the fronts only covered 10,000 miles before being on the limiters, and that was on the front!

As already mentioned, their life span is limited as they are quite a soft tyre. They do grip like a limpet though.
I have them on Full Fat Range Rover and at 10k miles, the shoulders on the front are showing a lot of wear.
It's funny you say that, almost all of my T1-Rs did that, even with more air in them to compensate for the chocolate sidewalls.I have them on Full Fat Range Rover and at 10k miles, the shoulders on the front are showing a lot of wear.
I used to mess around with getting the cheapest but decent tyres. But a poor choice doesn't just dent how the car feels and thus how you think the car handles, but also safety as we all know
