BMW E90 2007 Mirror Glass
Discussion
Hi guys,
So my wing mirror glass has been stolen.
Genuine mirror glass is £200+ for a pair. Safe to say I won't be paying that.
I am trying to find via breakers, salvage yards etc. Does anyone know if the mirror glass is same for the LCI model? Mine is a Pre-LCI.
Also, if I cannot find a genuine pair, what would be the best aftermarket alternative?
Many thanks

Won’t be the same as I believe the LCI got larger mirrors in line with new EU regulations (affectionally known as dumbo mirrors to some).
I’m surprised at that price and assume the aftermarket would be way cheaper, assuming they are just heated glass). I certainly hope so, as mine seem to be delaminating and even though I have the BMW warranty they apparently won’t cover any glass items, even though it’s clearly not suffered any physical damage.

I’d give quarry motors in Sheffield a try.

If you call them up, they’re great at trying to help out, & fast delivery too. Used them a few times for various bits over the years.
