Looking at buying something that weighs around 54kg. It’s 1.5m long and 600mm wide etc so wont go in the boot.
Was thinking of laying the passenger seat down as much as it’ll go and laying it on that. The seats are electric and so wondering would it damage the seat.
Obviously I won’t move the seat when item is on but just not sure about laying it on the seat.
What would your opinion be?

Not sure which car you have but 54 kg should be no problem. You don’t have folding seats?

54kg?

You realise that a lot less than you are...

Bottom end in footwell, top end on seat. Be fine.

Just make sure that any pointy bits are padded, as seat occupancy sensors can be damaged in some cars.

It’s a 2011 5 series and no unfortunately no folding seats.
If only they were standard as would be very handy!
Now it’s been mentioned I realise I weigh more myself!!
