X1 F48 2016 - broken o/s front fog lamp...

Before I book the car in with BMW to have this replaced, could someone answer a few questions please?...

Glass smashed by a stone. Is the glass replaceable separately, or, as I suspect, is it a whole new light unit needed?

Doesn't look like an easy DIY fix as the lamp is way up behind the front bumper. Am I right in thinking this?

Is a BMW main dealer the best route for replacement?
