335d Xdrive increased turbo lag
Discussion
I have an F30 2015 335d xdrive - recently it seems as if there is noticeable lag when flooring it from a standing start in sport or manual. This might just be me imagining things! But it seems to have lost some of the bottom end torque. If you preload the revs with the brakes on and then lift off the brake pedal it seems to have the torque back in but I guess it's spooled up at least one of the turbos by that point.
No warning lights thrown up or anything and maybe it's just a placebo?!
I've read up on the throttle body adaption reset - I did try it but I'm not sure I did it right as I didn't notice much of a difference - shifts do seem a bit smoother though.
Unless I need to do the reset and then drive it hard a few times for it to learn that driving style?
Anyone else had anything similar?
The car is leased and has warranty so if it is a genuine issue shouldn't be a problem to get it fixed.
