E36 seat connections

Did the seat electrical connectors change on E36s?

I've got some seats out of an R-reg car to go into a T-reg (I'd have to check on exact production dates, but both facelift) where the later car has two plugs under each seat, but I can only find one connector on the seats and it doesn't match either plug.

Anyone know?

Are the seats with 2 plugs heated?

Do both seats have the plugs? If the car had a passenger airbag it will have an occupancy sensor too.
