F31 - 3 litre trim levels?

I’ve been looking around online at the possibility of leasing an F31 in either the 330d or 335d variant, but for some reason I cannot appear to find (or choose) to have either of these in anything but the M Sport trim level.

Has this always been the case?

Not always. When I bought mine there was SE, MSport and Luxury. That was 2013 though

F30/31 is getting towards the end of its production run - it’s likely they have rationalised the trim lineup to the popular ones so they aren’t left with unregistered oddballs like a 330d SE or luxury or something losing lots of money when the new one comes out

I think they are only available as an M-Sport now

There is an irony to a modern trim that has wood...

Surely it should be gloss black for the modern? Or whatever else is all the rage these days?

There are three trim levels - SE, Sport and M Sport, but at the top of the range, only M Sport (or the M Sport Shadow).
