hi

I have a bit of fraying in the seatbelt of my new car and was told by the garage as it would pass an MOT they wouldnt replace it for me.

I also had a local traffic cop look at it and they didnt have any concerns.

the issue I have is the part which is freyed sits on your chest when you are strapped in.

I am looking at the possibility of getting it changed for piece of mind.

Is this something you could do yourself or is it best left to a garage?

its not due an MOT for a number of years and I have it in writing that it would pass an MOT..

did a bit of googling but there is not much info out there that I could find.

cheers

Wouldn't this be covered under warranty?
