Tramlining Z3

My 2.2 Z3 tends to 'tramline' on occasions. Is this due to the front tyre size/type? Or is there another cause for it?

have a look on one of the 'z' forums like zroadster.net
loads of detail
can be as simple as the brand of tyres
not an issue I have had with mine...

Have you got a different tread pattern front and rear?
This can be a cause.

Worn control arm bushes or front ball joints were always a favourite on z3s too
