I got Vredesteins (non runflat) x4 fitted for less than £500.
I’m happy with them.

Seems a bit high. Are you needing runflats?

I'm sure if you post up your tyre size someone will give you some options, tho I'm assuming you have been round all the main tyre sites already.

I put the reg of my old 335i into blackcircles, for the tires I'm using on my M3, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, it'd be circa £750.
Easy to get below £700 but I get more wear out of Michelins and really like them, the 4S are amazing: so I'd be looking for better deals, but don't think 700£ therefore is shocking.

It's not shocking for PS4s but if your first priority is spending less than £700 then that should be more than possible. As people have said you should be able to get a perfectly respectable set of tyres for about £500.

However OP seems to pop up asking the exact same question every two months so I am sure he doesn't really need any more advice.

Ha ha i'm still looking for the right answer, it's doing my head in - i remember not too long ago got all four corners done on a Porsche with change from £500 - 18" Pirellis so spending so much more is hurting, especially as i've just spent plenty on a full service too!!

Offset? You do not state the offset! Also offset is irrelevant for tyres!

Based on Black circles prices, PS4S in the OP's sizes (mail order), comes out @ £690, and then you have to add on fitting, so they'd still be over the OP's £700 limit that they seem to have themselves.

The problem with performance tyres is, one man's "great tyre!", is another man's "pi$$ poor tyre!", you don't get a trial period with tyres to find what suits you best, and they're not cheap things to try multiple different brands out.

People can post that they find Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Continental etc., etc. to be a great tyre, or post that Vredestein's, Falken's or whatever are a great tyre for a budget price, but that's no guarantee that they will suit the OP - At the end of the day, it all boils down to a personal choice.

I may be reading the OP's post wrong, but I get the impression that they're hoping to find "top brand" tyres that should cost £700+, for £500 or lower, because frankly, it's a two minute piece of pi$$ to find tyres in the OP's sizes for less than £700, but not from the top brand manufacturers.

If that is the case - OP: NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! nono

There are tyres from the likes of Falken and Vredestein for @ £500 a set that are rubbish/decent/good/excellent tyres for the money (depending on various opinions), and there are tyres from the likes of Michelin/Goodyear/Bridgestone/Pirelli etc., etc., that are going to set you back £700+, that are rubbish/decent/good/excellent (depending on various opinions).

Make your mind up what you're prepared to pay for a set of tyres, make your choice and get it done - No one can make the choice for you!

Ultimately the PS4S is not one of those "some say it's great, some say it's bad"

It completely wipes the board with it's competition in any tyre test it is featured in.
And it's durable, so OK it may be a little more pricey but if it lasts 20k for £690, where as a set which cost £590 last 15k, you are actually out of pocket.

At the end of the day if you are that hard up that £50/£60 either way on a set of tyres is a deal breaker then probably best not to have an expensive car with 19 inch wheels. Tyres are the most important thing you can have on your car and people still want to cheap out on them. It annoys me.
