Which shock absorbers to fit?

My 2010 E92 SE front shock absorber has started leaking, I will have both fronts replaced but am unsure which brand to go for. I don’t want to pay OTT but of course want to buy good components that will function well and last.. Advise and comments appreciated.

I'd use either Anschler, ECP's budget brand (but very good) at around £200 a pair, or Boge Sachs at around £300. Bilstein B4's are in between but I don't find them all that great. Avoid KYB, utter ste.Monroe are okayish I guess.

Struts are an absolute bd to fit on these - they are so long you need to disconnect the suspension arms from the cross member to drop the hub down enough.

Thanks isore, I will be bearing your comments in mind. Likely the car will go into my BMW indie for the work so I will also see what they have to recommend as well
