Where to get my BMW repaired around London?
Discussion
My M5 was involved in an unfortunate accident over the weekend, details are in Reader's cars. The damage looks to be driver door, front wing, front bumper, side skirt, wing mirror and suspension as the wheel is a bit bent.
I'm hoping the damage won't be too much for it to be written off and obviously want the best job possible to be done. It's my first accident and first time claiming anything on insurance so not really sure where I should be asking for it to be taken for repair. Does anyone have any recommendations? My insurer is Admiral.

I can recommend Adrian at Gilberts for BMW just along from Acton Town tube; he's more of a one-man garage but very knowledgeable. I've used him for service and small jobs on my old 6 series and more recently my Z4. Not sure if he'd take on insurance work; worth checking with him.
ETA Admiral may well dictate which repairer they use; the small print in my T&Cs when I was with them a few years ago certainly confirmed this.

Don't use any of Admiral"s approved repairers, all are sausage factories beaten down on price and therefore quality to get the work. Personal recommendations are the way to go.
If you are in SWLondon, I can highly recommend County Coachworks in Kingston, a small outfit that do outstanding work.

I'm not entirely sure Gilberts do bodywork anymore sadly... Top bloke for mechanical work though!ETA Admiral may well dictate which repairer they use; the small print in my T&Cs when I was with them a few years ago certainly confirmed this.
