BMW X 1 Eco Pro resets after every journey.

Afternoon all,
If any one can help with this one or point in the right direction I'd be grateful.
I have a BMW X1 2014 M Sport X Drive Diesel - I travel from Cardiff to Bridgend for work and always have used the eco pro to gain more fuel. In May this year the eco pro is resetting to 0.0 after every trip. Any ideas why this would be happening?
It used to happen before I had a new battery installed in Jan 2018, (The garage where I bought it from hadn't fixed any of the minor faults eg stop start not functioning, so they had to put a new battery in.)
