The little'un has turned 1, we got her a Sirona S I-size car seat

In the brochure attached it says it's not meant to fit in the 3 series (possibly due to the sloping rear bench?) We haven't got it out of the box yet as we intend to return it rather than risk unpacking it only to confirm it won't fit/swivel.

Has anyone got any experience of these seats or swivel seats for E90's ?

Can't help you on the Sirona, but we had a Maxi-Cosi Axiss Seat in a E91 Estate and it was fine. It's a big seat (a swivel one is going to be) but I'm 6ft and it fitted behind the drivers seat with me in it.

Bear in mind it's not isofix or whatever the new version of that is - it uses a locking mechanism to clamp the seat belt. It was rock solid for the year or so we used it, but did leave some creases in the seatbelt for a few months after. The lack of isofix didn't bother me as the swivel function meant that we didn't remove it often. Would be a pain if you're constantly moving it between cars though.

Also, it reclines which is great if your child wants to sleep. However for the last couple of months he was in it, his legs were too long to recline easily. Again, didn't see that as an issue as by then the function was less useful (and the replacement Group 2's don't recline anyway)

Only downside is that it's wide. So you won't be getting 2 adults in next to it in the back. Or be able to bring the armrest down. But that's the case for most kids seats in the E90/91
