So I have a 2009 320d with the dreaded n47 engine (say no more) after changing the oil and filter I noticed a bluish coloured smoke coming from the oil filler cap 😥 now the engine has not been drinking oil or coolant and there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust ( probably because of dpf right ?) Without paying for a compression test my thoughts are it's probably worn / damaged rings. My question is being a 9 year old car with 144k is a engine overhaul really worth it?
