Hi guys,

I have just purchased a 125i. It has Nav, the ability to make and receive calls via Bluetooth and also has Nav.

Anyone here advise on the most reliable / VFM way to stream music and Radio from my phone? I use radio apps all the time on the phone to stream for quality purposes.

The car has a USB and Aux under the armrest if that helps.

I do have a single DIN which I am happy to install via Connects2 but I am totally lot on the kit required for a E82 1 Series

Edit: just seen this.

Wonder if you can make and receive calls whilst it streams music or radio.

Thanks

The USB and Audio input combine into one cable on BMW's, it is called the USB Audio Interface. Get the USB Audio Interface cable for your phone from BMW and use that to connect your phone. It will show music that is in your playlists. Works best with Apple Music on iPhones as it is the conventional phone library, Spotify may not work through this. There is a way to enable A2DP streaming on these cars, requires some coding and also requires you to have the combox on your car. I would ask BMW about this. ConnectedDrive may allow for you to use streaming apps that you like to use on the cars system itself, that could be an answer.
