When I looked into this a company called profusion customs seemed to be the one to speak to.
Having said that I think you can get good results by removing the rear box.
I think it comes down to how much refinement you want to keep inside while upping the sound.
Have a look on YouTube for 545 magnaflow, or cherry bomb or muffler delete. They sound pretty awesome.

Muffler delete is an MOT fail - "The exhaust system must have the required number of silencers for your specific make and model of car.
