e90 320d cutting out when stopping but only if foot of clutc

i wonder if anyone can help
got a 2009 320d done round 90k

now the problem is when i stop it has started to cut out but only if i take my foot off clutch and it starts again as soon as i put my foot down on clutch.

i find it quite weird as i roll down the hill today and when if clutch is pressed and i stop it doesnt cut off but it does as soon as i let go of clutch

does anyone have a clue?

...isn't that just stop/start? You can turn it off on dashboard...or am I missing something else...

You just can't trust BMW cars nowadays, I find that if I turn the switch on the right side of the steering wheel the lights come on, even in daylight!

I suggest reading the car manual will help.
You have STOP/START.
Read the relevant page in the manual.
