5 year service pack question

Hi All, My 4.5 year old BMW is due a 3rd oil service in 1,200 miles. When new the car was ordered with a 5 year service pack. The present mileage is 48,650 which means the due oil service falls just before the 50,000 miles cut off. I will be speaking to BMW next week to see if this oil service is included in the service pack (The BMW service website implies it is https://www.bmw-service.co.uk/).

My questions is, does anyone know/have any experience if the 5 year service pack include 3 oil services. I’m fairly sure BMW only include 1 brake fluid change in a service pack but no mentioned of oil services.

The reason the car has ended up with a strange mileage is the first service was completed at 14 months old and 18,000 miles. Then the next services took place at just under 32,000 miles due to the age, not mileage. I have now arrived at the next service due to mileage.

If the service falls due inside the time limit or the mileage limit they have to do it. I don't understand what has caused a doubt in your mind about that.

One word of caution: I believe BMW are very strict about the limits, so if you go even slightly past the date or mileage limit they will chop you off immediately. On the other hand, they will do a service slightly before it is due so talk to your dealer ASAP.

Yep - the 50k or 5 year pack can include 3 oil services if indicated on cbs - I only managed 2 - 22k and 44k because I mainly do motorway. The brake fluid will be once in 5 years.

Additionally most stealers allow you to bring it in a 1000 miles early on cbs indication if close on 50k mark - particularly if you use “I’m going on a long 2k trip abroad over the next two weeks” excuse.

Thank you for the replies. Talked to BMW on Monday and all booked in for an oil service which is included in the service pack. They just warned me not to go over 50,000 miles.
