Winter wheels/tyres

[DVandrews]

I wonder if the collective knowledge can help, I need a set of winter wheels and tyres for my E93 335i, it currently has 18” rims, but 17’s will fit. Do the wheels from an F3X series car fit? Are the offsets the same or compatible.

Thanks

Dave

Have a look here: http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/

This will tell you all you need to know re alloys and their measurements

Then; use: https://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator/ to see if the tyres you're looking into will be fine for your car

The allowance is 2.5% +/-, any more your speedo will be out and could throw ABS issues etc
