Praise for Falkens on my F10
Discussion
My last F10 530d was an SE spec and was fine on run-flats.
My current F10 530 is an M-Sport and was not.
Changed over to 'normals' and have a Continental mobility kit in the boot.
Decieded to give Falken Azenis FK510's a go as my local tyre depot had them in stock.
Really really pleased. 6000 miles on grip is better than the Dunlop Sport Maxx Run-Flats. Quieter, more comfortable and the economy has not changed.
The habit of the outer edge of the fronts to wear rapidly has disappeared too now. (the sidewalls are more compliant I guess?)
Best bit £600 for 4.
Just thought I'd share incase anyone else is going through the same thought process I did.

I've fitted these 245/45/17 to my Merc S211 E Class Estate and whilst I have yet to test them on a swift A road, they are very quiet and comfortable so far. Obviously, my perception is assisted by having switched over from Michelin winter tyres, but they seem good so far. My decision was guided by strong reviews for 2019 summer tyres by both Auto Bild and Auto Express, in which the FK510s were within touching distance of the top rated tyres. A strong showing and only £110 each (as opposed to £150 for the Michelin Pilot Sport PS4s).
