Just wondering what F1x 5 series owners have with regard to phone holders if you use one?

I recently tried one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Humixx-Universal-Adjustab...

It was great for a couple of weeks but as it was stuck to the textured surface on top of the dash it didn't stick that well and has fallen off.

I tried an old holder I had, a vent clip in style one but it didn't fit, so, suggestions appreciated?

Brodit mount that attached to the vents
And a magnetic screw on mount.
Worked flawlessly.

Like Jamoor says - Brodit mounts.

Go to the website, Decide where you want the phone to be mounted on your make of car and then pick the holder that fits your phone, they even have different versions for each phone depending on the size/thickness of the case you use.

Suggest that you buy one that has the USB charging cable included, then you just slide the phone into the mount and it's ready to go. No messing around trying to put the cable into the phone separately.

Not cheap but well worth it.

Thanks guys the Brodit bracket looks good. Ideally would like to use a magnetic mount so both the wife and I can use it easily with different phones.

Which screw on mount did you use jamoor? I assume you mean you attached it to the Brodit bracket?

Don't do the latter idea, its a terrible solution as its expensive and doesn't have the flexibility of fi you change your phone etc

I bought this one.
