I saw one a couple of weeks ago. Very disappointed. I think it’s terrible from the rear. That two tone bumper ‘thing’. The earlier model looks much nicer.

Supposedly looks better in the flesh..........

Off-road package option finally is a big improvement though, and once I'm sitting inside it, I don't care what it looks like from the outside biggrin

However, the bundling up of options into packs to satisfy the stupid WLTP testing, meaning you have to pay a shed load extra for stuff you don't want or need plus no 4.0d option, means I'm not likely to be in the market for a G05 to replace my F15 anytime soon.

Never mind the 2019 X5, the X7 looks absolutely hideous.

Which leaves? The merc GLE looks interesting. Could never own a RR Sport. Not so fussed with the Q7. Bit bland. 7 seats. Hmm. I’d seriously look at the 17 x5

I think the G05 looks much better than the 'slightly fat X3' F15 version.

The interior and tech seems leagues better too.

It looks like an X1 - which isn’t a very pretty car imo - on steroids.

Had a look at a new X5 in the dealers today...priced at a mere £75,000

I like it but don't see the need upgrade my 3 year old 40e just yet.

Agree the rear bumper looks odd and the rear tail-lights don't seem to have much presence.

Interior looks great though.

Backwards rpm gauge, just so you can have more computer screen in the dash gauges... ffs.

HUD, big tv in middle, and now more duplicate info pushing core features like speed and rpm around.

I’d be having to decompile these modules binaries and program in some non-gay dials.

There was an Audi Q8 indoors at Brussels airport last week - looks about 1000 times better than the X5 toss. That's just appallingly ugly.

I had a look at one in the showroom last week, I have to say I liked it the interior was lovely and it looked much better in the flesh than on the pictures on the outside.

The sticker price as speced was eye watering though but I do think that the latest models do look much better in real life than in photos.

Saw a few these at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire where they have a fleet of them (and i3s) for ferrying guests about.

Proportions all look right but the rear with the sticky-out bumper looks a mess.

Am sure its great inside etc but i'll be sticking with my E70 40e for a good while longer.
