E39 530i, INPA codes 83 kw and 244 segment time measuring

Well, this morning I was driving on the motorway when I noted a slight judder and inmmediately the ASC light was on (the road was dry). In that moment I noted the car lacked power, too, being slow to rev, as in a "limp home" mode.

When I arrived home I turned off the key and, after a few seconds, I turned on again. The starter was cranking for 3-4 seconds before effectively starting the engine; until now, my car always started right away.

I read the error codes on INPA, there were two DME codes:

- 83 KW Error
- 244 Segment time measuring faulty

and a ABS/ASC module code:

- 75 CAN NMOT Error

I cleared the codes, the ASC light was off and now the car drives as it should (and starts inmediately). But as these days I have to travel a bit with my car, I´m a bit worried. If somebody has any experiencie about it, I´ll be delighted to hear...
