340i F31 touring - anyone have one near Rayleigh Essex?

Hi all,

I'm musing with the idea to re-arrange the fleet at home but as usual in a bit of quagmire.

I have an i3 for 90% of duties pretty much everywhere and a E91 330d for tip runs, family holidays etc... I like the 330d, it's manual and hence "interesting" to drive. I've changed the runflats and changed the suspension so it rides pretty well and I'll do about 6000 miles absolute tops in it, but mostly longer runs.

However, I'm tempted to either get a track car, or something "more fun" - but in the realisation that it'll hardly get driven... Or change the 330d for something that can do a bit of both, and a straight 6 petrol is a glorious thing.

The issue is there's no dealers with a 340i anywhere close by and before hacking over the country I'd like to at least have a ride in one... So has anyone got a 340i (saloon or estate) that they'd be willing to take me for a spin in?

Harold Wood in Romford have 3 340is on the AUC website, wouldn't it be better to drive one yourself passenger ride won't tell you that much, although they are saloons but I never really noticed a difference between my old F31 335d touring and the saloon loaners I used to get from the garage.

Good spot - I've been trawling Autotrader but for reasons I can't fathom didn't think to check the AUC site... I'll keep an eye there and may try to tee up a drive next week.
