Warranty expires soon on the bmw and am thinking of going for 3rd party cover rather than through bmw.

Any recommendations?

They are offering monthlies (not subject to increase) or annual renewals - what would be best?

If it's 0% APR for the monthlies, do that as it's easier to manage the cost (assuming you get paid monthly).

Like previous posters have mentioned, 3rd party warranties aren't always the value they may appear. All in the T&C's as well as the claims handling.

BMWs warranty is actually worth having so stick with it.

Alternatively stick a sum aside just in case.

A third party warranty is pointless.

If you go with monthly payment won't go up when you go past 60000 miles. Obviously if you're no where near this it doesn't matter.

Worth going monthly renewals as you can remain on Comprehensive cover rather than being downgraded to Driveline or Named Component when you hit certain mileage limits (60k / 100k).

Thanks - that’s a very useful tip

Hows the BMW warranty value after the 3 year point? Mazda's go from £330 a year to over £800
