2010 520d F10 issues to look for?

Hi guys,
Looking (and put a small deposit on) to buy a low mielage (40k) 2010 520d and my only concern is the 2.0 engine which in earlier models (especially 2008-2009) had cam chain and tensioner issues.

The car has FBMSH with 2 owners...

Should I run for the hills or just warranty the car and buy it?

BMW advise there was no recall on this car or year, only earlier. But if there is ever an issue they look at it in a case by case basis.

Why not a 530d? (Still has the odd timing chain problem with the N57 but a much better driving experience and engine).

it's at least 8 years old and has done 40k miles, if correct just 5K per annum. It's a diesel and has a DPF and there is an EGR recall out for many N47 engines. Read the threads here just to see how likely a warranty will cover you if something expensive goes! Bet they want a premium price as its "low mileage" too. Run......
