BMW Z4 2005 2.5l - hardtop - Where do I find them?
Discussion
If the car's got a lot of miles on it, maybe concentrate on making the mechanical sound first before doing anything cosmetic (i.e. springs/dampers/bushes will be past their best at 50k miles).
A drop-in filter will give you almost zero extra sound or power (even if your brain is telling you otherwise after buying it).
Z4 headlights aren't cheap, and even more so if you've got xenons (for which there are almost no alternatives to BMW). If you've got the standard halogens, then there are a good few more, some with better reputations than others.
Upgrading the brakes can be a good mod, as just decent pads & fluid will make the driving feel nicer.
I think most mods (even some of the tackier ones) are 'understood' - but stay away from putting M badges on and calling it a 'replica'.

Hi all,
Been scouring the internet for a hardtop for my new (new to me) 2005 BMW Z4 2.5L and coming up with eBay only, anyone have any ideas where I could find one?
Also, any ideas for good mods for the car will be welcome?
As someone already said, get over to z4forum. You just missed a black one last week! Been scouring the internet for a hardtop for my new (new to me) 2005 BMW Z4 2.5L and coming up with eBay only, anyone have any ideas where I could find one?
Also, any ideas for good mods for the car will be welcome?
But this silver one might still be available:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t...
The best mod you can do is get the roof motor moved into the boot, before it drowns in water from the roof drains if it hasn't already been moved. There are a few forum members who can do it for you.
