Hi,
Im Brad, I am new here and wondered if i could use your expert knowledge if possible I have a 2013 530d manual 258bhp and need a replacement flywheel however am ultra
Confused at which part number i need i was told by one BMW dealer the m57 engine flywheels fit the n57 however another one says different.

The question is can you put a clutch and flywheel kit from say a 2008 530d in the 2013 N57 although they have different bhp any tips would be great

Many thanks
Brad

Whether they are compatible, I know not, but I am trying to think of a reason why you would want to fit a clutch/flywheel from a different car.

Just get the right one for your car.

They are no the same part.

Petrol:

Flywheel: http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/F10/Europe/530i-...

Clutch: http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/F10/Europe/530d-...

Diesel:

Flywheel: http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/F10/Europe/530d-...

Clutch: http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/F10/Europe/530i-...

The difference in flywheel weight would suggest that they are significantly different parts.
