The ever helpful BMW dealership have just quoted me £247 each for three new winter tyres, the fourth will be £355.

I've just bought online four new Bridgestone Winter run flats for £111 each, and will happily pay my tyre man £50 to fit and balance them.

The BMW folk were charming and delightful.

I bought four Continental Conti-WinterContact TS 860 for £118 each and my tyre man got his £50. Managed to avoid run-flats but am too mean to buy another winter tyre for spare wheel.
As you say, the BMW dealer is very friendly - and so he should be if he hopes to get our money!
