750 iL 1998 Issue - need help

hi all

750 iL issue
1998 model
I have a petrol Leak from top of tank
Could be breather pipe issue
petrol drips down side of tank only when running No leak when engine off
Is there someone local who could look at it for me
Based in wapping (between Whitechapel and tower bridge)

If it’s only happening when running it might be worth looking at the pipe connections to the lift pump- it’s easy to get to and should be obvious if it’s at fault - just pull up the rear seat and unbolt the inspection plate

I am sure that, now you have given the post code, it will be swiftly moved!

The problem could well be rust in the tank seams, very common on the E38.

I thought this, but if it woupd leak all the time when it was filled and not only when running?
