BMW Roof Racks available
Discussion
I have two genuine BMW roof mount cycle racks that used to carry bikes on my E39 touring. These racks fitted on to BMW roof bars but I no longer have either the E39 or the roof bars having traded up to an E61. The racks are the self loading type with a spring loaded bar which hooks onto a bike and lifts it into position on the roof (see attached photos).
I no longer use these racks and have previously tried to sell them on eBay without success. With a house move looming in the future I am reluctantly contemplating taking them to the local tip. As they are in perfect condition this is not a very attractive option and so I would prefer to give them to someone who could make use of them. I'd therefore like to offer them FREE to anyone who could collect them from me. I'm located in Hook, Hampshire which is just off Junction 5 of the M3 and a dozen or so miles south of Reading.
If you're interested please let me know and we can arrange a suitable day and time for you to collect.
