1 series strange oil leak (2005) - 120d

Does anyone have any idea of what this oil leak may be?

My 120d has served me well and has reached 190k miles, so I'm eager to maximise the life out of it.

You need to get it up on a ramp and take the tray off.

God knows where it is coming from? All you are seeing is where it is running off the tray.

That's what I thought I couldn't workout where it was coming from!

Is it auto? Looks like trans fluid.

Yes it's an auto. Cheers will ask the garage to take a look at it tomorrow.

Considering where it is collecting/dripping from more likely to be Power Steering fluid.

Is that the Drivers side rear wheel? If so it’s probably the fuel tank vent pipe, they are bad for rubbing through above the tank. They normally just leak if the car is fueled to the top.

Just had this on the ramps and this seems to be the problem.

My bad, I thought it was front!

Thank you mate, I actually looked to see if the transmission fluid was low and it was.
