Hi,
So Im new to the forum as a poster but have always been a browser up until now.... I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the 320D xDrives and the failing at-auxiliary transmission. The car I bought had it go at 17k (now on 45k) and Im worried its a general issue with these cars also what means to avoid this happening.

I think Im right in saying you need to replace the oil every 5th service and something to do with tyre tread?

Any help\advice is appreciated smile

Thanks!

“failing at-auxiliary transmission”? Not sure I understand what that is? The xdrive seems very solid, and in the more recent versions (F30/F15/F10) less sensitive to the need to only use * rated tyres, that threw up transfer case problems in the past.
