Best tyres for BMW X1 (2016)

A relative owns a 2016 BMW X1. The dealer sold it with Bridgestone Turanza T001 run flat tyres.

The tyres might need replacing soon. I wondered if anybody can tell me which are the safest/best tyres to replace these ones with? I don't know much about BMW or run-flats, in particular whether the fact it has run-flats now means the alloys can only accept run-flats in the future?

I have a 2017 X1, I opted out of RFTs @ purchase, but you can change to non RFTs.
I have Pirelli P Zeros on a 18 inch rim. You could get the Turanzas on non RFTs.
I'm assuming it's a X drive (all wheel drive) then then most important, get * marked i.e. means BMW approved.
Both Pirelli and Bridgestone Turanzas come as * marked.

The wife has a 2016 X1 with non run flats. The last time I looked I could only find Bridgestones that were BMW approved. It’s not them on at the moment and they seem quite noisy.
