Resetting Service Warnings X1

I'm unable to reset the front brake service warning on the display which tells me it's due in 450 Miles. Its not the pad low warning.
Does anyone know if it has to get to zero to reset it?
I can reset everything else but not this one.
Car is a 2010 BMW X1, menu is accessed via the instrument binnacle display button to the bottom left, and the left stalk buttons.
It's what I call the old fashioned display in the middle of the instruments.
Brakes were replaced a few weeks ago (not by me).
Any ideas are much appreciated.
