Serviced BMW at non-BMW garge
Discussion
Hello,
Need some help on best way to deal with this, new to the lack of a physical service book.
I've a 2014 M235i, previous owner bought the car with the service pack and there were 3 services through BMW.
When I bought the car, the dealer I bought it from were due to service it and offered me a free one under their Toyota brand - which I've just had done, and they've told me they can't update the service history on iDrive but have reset the various bits on the car and are sending me the invoice with detail.
I've gone to BMW and they've confirmed that only BMW or BMW approved will be able to put it on the car, and suggested buying a service book for the non-BMW service. Should I? What's the best way of tracking this given essentially I just have an invoice right now?
Bit annoyed given the car is immaculate and the service history was all BMW and covered on the car.

Just get it serviced again by a bmw Indy who can update the record. BMW won’t service it themselves as it’s not flagging as required.Need some help on best way to deal with this, new to the lack of a physical service book.
