BMW i8 scuffs - how to repair?

So I have a Protonic Red Edition i8 and someone’s scraped the passenger wing mirror... is there anything I can do to get rid of this? Can’t find anything online and dealer insists whole thing will need a respray (which costs £££ given its CF and plastic alloy).
Hoping the gear heads at PH can impart some wisdom!

I don't think the mirror is CF. It's just composite.

If its a deep scratch/scrap then you will probably need a respray otherwise a detailer might be able to buff it out. Where abouts are you?
