Hi all,

I'm very interested in the concept of adaptive drive with the dynamic anti roll bars, clearly a great way to get the best out of the suspension...

But how complicated is it all? And how reliable? And The two combined to generate a general bork factor!

Any advice appreciated, otherwise could just park the concept or find something with air suspension (and it's associated bork factor!)

Cheers,
Mark

Dynamic anti roll bars are a brinlliant bit of kit, and in all my time working on BMW’s with them on, I have only had to replace one anti roll bar and that was on a very early e65 745i. It’s a pretty simple system and pretty robust too.

Adaptive dampers do go wrong from time to time and can be expensive but not often enough to avoid buying a car that had them on

Sounds like it could be a good option then - I've a search saved to try and find "Dynamic Drive" and as you say, hard work! But to get the ride right appears to be lost on so many cars now.

Appreciate the variable dampers may go, as all damper do but I was concerned the dynamic roll bars would have some mega hydraulics or something weird that could die and cost more than the car wink
